Li Mingqiang Holds Talks with Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdulla Adel
Recently, during the "China-GCC Countries Forum on Industrial and Investment Cooperation" in Xiamen, Assistant General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group) Li Mingqiang held a meeting with the visiting Bahrain Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdulla Adel.
Minister Abdulla expressed his gratitude for CMEC Group's active participation in Bahrain's national development projects, particularly highlighting the significant impact of the Sitra Housing Project, constructed by CMEC Group, in Bahrain. He elaborated on Bahrain's favorable business environment, national policies, and the responsibilities of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under the Bahrain 2030 Vision. He emphasized Bahrain's goal to diversify its industrial structure through a more varied industrial system. Minister Abdulla welcomed CMEC Group to leverage its strengths in industrial construction, market reputation, and international operation to collaborate more deeply with government departments and local enterprises, thus advancing Bahrain's industrial development.
Li Mingqiang thanked Minister Abdulla for his attention and support towards CMEC Group's operations in Bahrain. He provided a detailed overview of CMEC Group's comprehensive industrial structure and extensive construction experience in the field of industrial engineering, as a subsidiary of the leading Chinese machinery industry enterprise, SINOMACH. Li highlighted CMEC Group's core capabilities and market advantages in planning, design, consulting, and construction of industrial projects, expressing a strong willingness to engage in broader and deeper cooperation with Bahrain's Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and actively contribute to Bahrain's industrialization process.
Li was accompanied by personnel from CMEC Group's Urban Construction Division during the talks.
