Li Mingqiang Holds Talks with Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzai
On May 30, during the Ministerial Conference of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum, Li Mingqiang, Assistant General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Group Corporation (CMEC Group), met with Sarra Zaafrani Zenzai, visiting Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing. The two sides discussed prospects and opportunities for CMEC Group's cooperation in engineering construction and investment in Tunisia.
During the meeting, Li Mingqiang introduced the contributions of CMEC Group to the economic development of Africa, showcasing the company's core technical capabilities and extensive achievements in design consulting and engineering construction. He expressed CMEC Group's willingness to participate in Tunisia's national development in various ways.
Minister Zenzai welcomed CMEC Group to engage in engineering projects in Tunisia. She noted that President Kais Saied’s visit to China would further promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation and technical exchange, creating opportunities and conditions for extensive cooperation between Tunisian and Chinese engineering firms. She was pleased to learn about CMEC Group's significant achievements and strong capabilities in international engineering construction and expressed her hope for broad cooperation with CMEC Group in various fields.
